Pooltronix has benefited from considerable research by leading water technologists from Southampton University. The company now has sales offices in the UK, France Hungary and the Asia Pacific region.

The philosophy behind the company has been ecologically driven, in that it has managed to produce a system of disinfection in swimming pools, without the use of any chemicals. This was driven by the founder, observing in his own family, the distress caused by the imbalance, lack of care and the use of harmful chemicals in the water. On close investigation, it was found that the controls of these disinfectants were greatly out of balance, despite assurances to the contrary.

The Systems produced by Pooltronix limited have been designed for commercial use based on this philosophy.
 The e-system; a fully automated inline electrolysis system for large commercial pools, using a small amount of salt in the water, with a 100% acurrate level measurement system, full online remote monitoring and adjustment and acidity regulation with C02 gas.
 The i-system; A fully automated ionic system for commercial spa pools and jaccuzzis, using the unique disinfection properties of silver and copper. This gives genuine chemical free, 'drinking water standard' quality water and requires very little maintenance.
